What we collect, honestly: almost nothing.

Your email address is the whole list.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, the email address you type into the form is sent to MailerLite, the EU-based service that stores and sends the newsletter. Their data centres are in the European Union and they are ISO 27001 certified. We never see or store your address anywhere else, and it is used for one purpose only: sending the newsletter you asked for.

Every newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from the list, with no questions, no guilt and no clever “are you sure” mazes. You can also reply to any newsletter and ask to be removed.

When you subscribe, a confirmation email is sent before you are added. That extra step means nobody can add you without your say-so. It also puts your consent on record, which is the law-friendly way to do this.

No accounts, no analytics, no tracking scripts.

The site has no logins, no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts and no tracking cookies of its own. We deliberately left out the tracking tools most websites run, including the newsletter service’s tracking script, because a site for families who value their privacy should behave like one.

One honest technical detail: the typefaces on these pages load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a technical request from your browser when a page loads, as it does on most of the web. It is not used to identify you, and nothing about you is stored by this site because of it.

Separate, and it stays that way.

The WhatsApp community is run on WhatsApp itself, under WhatsApp’s own terms. This site never sees who joins it, never receives member names or numbers, and never publishes anything shared inside the group. Who is in the group stays in the group.

Not connected yet, and honest about it.

The suggestion, review and business application forms on this site currently check your input and tell you they do not send or store anything, because they do not. When they are connected to a real review process, this page will be updated before anything starts being stored.

If anything in this page ever changes, the change will be written here plainly rather than slipped into small print.
