Hello Park

Hello Park is a children’s amusement park in the Parque Florestal de Monsanto, Lisbon’s big forest park on the hill west of the city centre. It sits at the entrance to the Parque da Serafina, which many Lisbon families know as the Parque dos Índios. Hello Park has its own fence, gate, tickets and staff, and it’s separate from the free public park around it. The park is built for children aged 3 to 12. It describes itself as Lisbon’s biggest children’s amusement park and says it uses natural materials to fit in with the forest. Most of the play is outdoors under the pines, with indoor areas for the inflatable, the ball pool and the quieter activities.

Outdoor climbing and ninja play

The Ninja Park is an outdoor circuit of 12 wooden obstacles. Next to it is the arvorismo, a tree-top course that takes children from tree to tree over more than 20 obstacles.

There’s also a car track of about 150 metres for children to race round.

Pretend play and adventure

The Barco dos Piratas is a pirate ship, described by the park as a real boat, with a treasure to find. The Casa da Árvore (treehouse) is part outdoor, part indoor. Under the pines, the Forest House is a pretend-play area with pots, pans, frying pans, an oven, hobs, logs and a table and chairs. Staff also tell stories in the shade of the big pine, a session the park calls Histórias à Sombra do Grande Pinheiro.

Indoor play

The giant inflatable covers about 200 m², with obstacles, a big slide, climbing walls and hiding places. The ball pool holds 25,000 balls. There’s an indoor games pitch for team games, a small disco with music and lights, and Super Construções, a building area with open-ended materials. Five traditional game stalls (ring toss, a bouncing ball, tin-can knockdown, beanbags and hook-a-duck) round things off, and there’s an art atelier too.

When checked in September 2026, individual entry started from €15 per child per hour. That price includes one adult. Each extra 30 minutes costs €4, and a second adult costs €7. You don’t need to book: tickets are always sold at the gate, and you can also buy online. The park holds a maximum of 350 children, so on very busy days entry may be paused until space frees up.

Hello Park is open every day. From 1 April to 31 October the hours are 09:00 to 20:00, and from 1 November to 31 March 09:00 to 18:00. The park can change its hours for events or maintenance, so check before a special trip.

This is the service that makes Hello Park unusual. With kidsitting, you leave your child in the care of one or more monitors assigned only to your children, and they use all the park’s attractions while you do something else. It’s available every day.

When checked, two hours of kidsitting including park entry cost €40 for one child, €35 per child for two or three children, and €30 per child for more than three. Extra hours were €15, €12 or €10 per child. A full day was €125 for one child or €90 per child for two or three, plus €7.50 each for lunch; snacks were included. The kidsitting regulations give the age range as 4 to 12. If you cancel, the money isn’t refunded but stays as credit with no expiry date for any Hello Park service.

The Atelier de Férias is Hello Park’s holiday camp for children aged 3 to 12. It runs on weekdays in the school holidays: an autumn School Break, Christmas, Carnival, Easter and summer. Monitors stay with the children the whole time, the park’s attractions are included, and lunch plus morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Prices started from €40 per child per day part-time when checked, and booking a full week gives one day free.

To sign up, email hello@hellopark.pt. A place is confirmed only once you’ve paid by bank transfer, and refunds are possible up to 60 days before the programme starts. Tell the team in writing about any health condition, dietary restriction or care need when you register.

• Every child must be with a responsible adult for the whole visit, who is fully responsible for supervising them. Kidsitting and the ateliers are the exceptions.
• Socks are compulsory on the inflatable and trampolines, and shoes aren’t allowed there.
• Outdoors, closed comfortable shoes are recommended; flip-flops and sandals aren’t a good idea.
• Leave belts, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, sunglasses, watches and keys aside before playing.
• Children with recent injuries or recovering from surgery can’t use the attractions.
• In heavy rain, strong wind or thunderstorms, the outdoor attractions may be closed while the indoor ones stay open.
• The park films and photographs for its own promotion. If you don’t want your family filmed, tell the team before the visit starts.
• The park has personal accident insurance for all its services, with a €60 excess paid by the customer.

Food and drink are only allowed in the Hello Caffè café and on its indoor and outdoor terraces, not in the play areas. For family celebrations there’s also Hello PicNic: a three-hour party in a fenced picnic area in the forest, with a snack for the children and catering for adults, for at least 8 children and 10 adults. It started from €27 per child and €15 per adult when checked.

Besides the picnic parties, Hello Park runs birthday parties, school visits and private and company events. A deposit is paid on booking and isn’t refundable except in cases of force majeure.

It’s aimed squarely at 3 to 12-year-olds, so teenagers and babies won’t get much from it. Most of the best play is outdoors, which means a wet, windy winter day loses the ninja park and tree-top course. The park also hosts holiday ateliers, school visits and parties, so expect groups of children alongside you.

Can I leave my child at Hello Park?

Yes, with the kidsitting service. A monitor looks after your child (ages 4 to 12) for as long as you book, from two hours to a full day. On a normal ticket, an adult has to stay.

Do adults pay at Hello Park?

One adult is included with each child’s ticket. A second adult costs €7.

Do you need to book Hello Park?

Not for an individual visit; tickets are sold at the gate. Book ahead for kidsitting, the holiday ateliers and parties.

Does Monsanto forest park run Hello Park?

No. It sits inside the forest, but Hello Park is a separate fenced and ticketed business at the Parque da Serafina entrance. Monsanto itself is a free public forest park.

What happens if it rains?

The outdoor attractions may be closed in heavy rain, wind or storms, but the park stays open with its indoor play, including the giant inflatable and the ball pool.
