UpUp Park

UpUp is a trampoline park in Cabra Figa, Rio de Mouro, in the Sintra council west of Lisbon. It calls itself the biggest trampoline park that’s 100% Portuguese-owned, with more than 80 trampolines. It’s a straightforward jumping park: no roller coasters or VR, just a lot of trampolines set up for different games and levels, with monitors around to help and push children a little further.

It’s handy for families along the IC19, and four bus routes stop right outside.

Free jumping on linked trampolines

The main zone is dozens of interconnected trampolines plus walls lined with angled trampolines. Children can bounce from one end to the other, bounce off the sloping walls and show off whatever tricks they’ve got.

The airbag

The Saco de Ar is a giant inflatable landing bag, 1.5 metres deep, with four run-up lanes. It’s the place to try a new trick and land softly. The rules are specific: land on your back or sitting down with a relaxed body, never head first, on your front or on your feet; wait your turn; and get out straight away through the marked exit. The park’s tip for climbing out is to walk with your legs apart and knees bent.

The wall

A trampoline wall lets confident jumpers run up and “defy gravity”. Children must be taller than 125 cm to use it.

Dodgeball, basketball and football

The dodgeball court plays two teams of up to eight with soft foam balls. A referee runs the game, you can only block a ball with another ball, and you’re out if you hold the ball more than 10 seconds, hit someone on the head or cross into neutral territory. There’s also a basketball zone where anyone can jump high enough to dunk, and a football zone for shooting practice.

Mini trampolines for the smallest

The Mini Trampolins area is set aside for little children. Monitors help them learn to jump and work on balance and coordination. The Junior ticket is for one child aged 3 to 6 plus one adult, and the child must always be with the adult.

When checked in September 2026:

• General pass: €12 for one hour or €15 for two hours
• Student access: €9, Monday to Friday except public and school holidays
• Family: €39.50 for four people (two adults and two children), €8.50 per extra child, €15 for an extra hour
• Junior: one child aged 3 to 6 with one adult (the price wasn’t shown on the ticket page, so ask)
• Monthly pass: €50, valid every day, subject to availability
• Gift card: €35
• Official UpUp socks: €3 a pair, not included in any ticket

UpUp doesn’t publish its opening hours on its website. It posts updates on its Facebook page, so check there or phone 211 326 741 before you set off.

UpUp’s rules are posted at each activity. The main ones:

• Grip socks are compulsory.
• One person per trampoline, and always jump in the middle, away from the coloured pads.
• Land on both feet.
• Watch out for others and give way to smaller children.
• No eating or drinking on the trampolines, and that includes chewing gum.
• Follow the monitors’ instructions.

UpUp runs trampoline classes where children learn vertical jumps, somersaults, twists and body control. When checked they were on Mondays and Fridays from 17:15 to 18:15, at €25 a month for one class a week or €35 for two. A trial class costs €5; book it through the contact form or by phone. The home page also advertises trampoline fitness classes for adults.

Birthday parties come in two versions. By Day is an hour of jumping followed by a snack in a private room. By Night mixes the trampolines with a disco atmosphere. UpUp also takes school groups and company events and can build a custom package (UpUp à tua medida).

The park is at Avenida de Santa Isabel 5, on the EN249-4 at km 4.4 in Cabra Figa. Coming from the IC19, follow signs for Carcavelos and Albarraque; from the A5, follow Abóboda, Trajouce and Sintra. Buses 1613, 1614, 1615 and 1622 stop about 10 metres from the park.

There’s no separate soft-play area for toddlers, so under-3s have little to do. The hall is big and noisy when it’s full. Because opening hours aren’t on the website, an unplanned trip can end at a closed door; check first.

The Museu do Ar aircraft collection is on the Sintra air base at Granja do Marquês, further out along the Sintra road. For a gentler afternoon, the tunnels and initiation well of Quinta da Regaleira are in Sintra town.

Is UpUp good for young children?

Can you get to UpUp by bus?

Yes. Buses 1613, 1614, 1615 and 1622 stop about 10 metres from the park.
